The Artist Friendly Foundry

Customer Testimonial from
Randy Buck, Sculptor

All art forms involve process. None more so than sculpture, and in particular bronze. As a professional artist I know that I am only as good as the finished work is in terms of my audience. My clients expect, deserve, and receive the highest quality designs I can create. So it would be ill advised for me to use a foundry that cared less about my work than I do.

Over the years I have spent learning my craft, I’ve received an education in every step of the bronze creating process. And though I reside in Florida, for my money and my art, only American Fine Arts Foundry will do.

Creating a great bronze sculpture requires not only my best, but also the best of each of the artisans involved along the way. From the mold maker and wax chaser, through the pour, the welding and chasing of the casting, and culminating with the patina, my work just can’t be any better than the weakest link in the chain. And at American Fine Arts Foundry, there are no weak links. They are consistent and professional.

Not every artist’s work requires the painstaking attention to detail that mine does. At American Fine Arts Foundry, that is just fine. They can tailor a production program that meets your individual needs. Best of all their prices are competitive. Sure I’ve seen garage and backyard operations that are on the cheap so to speak. But I certainly haven’t been able to find a foundry with this quality of service and product at a better price. And I have looked.

American Fine Arts Foundry is located a mere two blocks from the Burbank International Airport. They’re not out in the boonies somewhere nor do I have to drive through hours of city traffic to reach them. This makes them uniquely suited to serve artists like myself who are located outside southern California or the west coast.

The foundry business in my experience seems hostage to the specter of lengthy delay. At American Fine Arts Foundry my work has always been done in a timely manner. My customers rarely understand just what hurdles I may have to contend with in order to satisfy their desire to receive a work in a prompt time frame. Thankfully I’ve had a lot less to worry about with American Fine Arts Foundy.
